Sportsplex of Halfmoon is seeking instructors for our introductory sports programs for children ages 2-5. (Kicks for Kids, Lil Sluggers, and Lil Laxers)

This position is part-time and includes some weekday and weekend hours teaching classes. This is a part-time, year-round position, so please do not apply if you are looking for full time or temporary work.

Perfect for pre-school teachers, teacher aids, coaches and players who enjoy teaching and interacting with toddler and preschool age children. 

Job Requirements :

• Use patience and caring to motivate and engage kids in activities 
• Prepare for class using curriculum that includes detailed lesson plans 
• Be able to give clear explanations/demonstrations of activities 
• Deal effectively with inappropriate behavior without alienating the child 
• Allow for flexibility if classes are not going well 
• Ability to make kids smile and laugh 
• Establish a nurturing, fun relationship with children 
• Must have experience working with children
